Unsocial 'Social' Games, Greg Costikyan → gamasutra.com

If you look at the interplayer communication fostered by social tycoon games, you will see that every possible communication, every game action that a player may take relative to another player, exists solely to serve the purposes of the developers. Agency of Unrealized Projects (call) → e-flux.com

Unlike unrealized architectural projects, which are frequently exhibited and circulated, unrealized artworks tend to remain unnoticed or little known. But perhaps there is another form of artistic agency in the partial expression, the incomplete idea, the projection of a mere intention? Agency of Unrealized Projects (AUP) seeks to document and display these works, in this way charting the terrain of a contingent future.

Do robots have a Buddha Nature? → bogotissimo.com

Em Janeiro de 2004, perguntei para vários desses robôs: “Do robots have a Buddha Nature?” (um erro; mais correto seria perguntar “Do robots have the Buddha Nature?”). Caso a resposta fosse evasiva, pressionava: “Do you have a Buddha Nature?” As respostas obtidas estão colecionadas abaixo:

How to Dismantle and Destroy a Hard Drive → lifehacker.com

DominoPower Magazine has a step-by-step guide with photos of the process. You’ll need a needle-nose plier, a flat screwdriver, and TORX bits (for removing the star-shaped screws and bolts).
